Hi folks :3

I took a long-ish break from running tamagotchis and other v-pets, thx to lots of RL stuff happening, but I’m kinda back!
And I got a few new pets by now: a very nice Dinkie Dino widget on my phone, a Pocket Turtle, and I also ordered a Pocket Max/Puppy! One that MIGHT be working even *keeps fingers crossed* which should arrive within the next few days.



Look what I got! And I got it for free in the Google PlayStore!!



As you can see, the little one has already grown a lot. Here are my clever girl’s current stats:



Since it’s a widget and not an app, it’s constantly running in real time, just like an actual v-pet. You can also turn sound and notifications on and off aaaaaaand can even download more growth options (Velociraptor, Stegosaurus & Pterodactyl) and other pets like the Yuki Penguin, the Dinkie Puppy, Alien, Elephant, Deer, Shark and Bear (not for free tho).

So far I’m very happy with my little Dinkie. She’s average to low maintenance and very very adorable X3





The Pocket Turtle was my first tamagotchi-like pet ever (although 20 years or so ago I used to have a red one like the one you see here on the top of the page) and I’ve always wanted to have one again. So, naturally, when I happened to see one on sale on ebay, I took the opportunity.

I have no idea if there even are different growth options, since as a kid, I only ran it once, I think (and got it to the ripe age of 40, woohooo!) before I got distracted by my ongoing hunt for an original tamagotchi ^^’

Anyway, I started it up yesterday evening and was invited to watch mommy turtle burying an egg in the sand:



5 minutes later this very very unimpressed little fellow hatched:



The Pocket Turtle runs pretty much like an original P1 tamagotchi as you can see from the instructions on the back of the package:



The only noteworthy differences are that instead of disciplining it you get to send it to school:

Also its baby stage lasts longer.

So yeah, that’s it for now :3 I’d love to also start the Pocket Puppy as soon as it arrives, but I believe I remember it being a bit more high maintenance so maybe it will have to way until I’m off work in summer. We’ll see!
